About this category

Calm, uncluttered wallpapers: soft skies, single flowers, simple landscapes and short words to live by.

Where it works best

Minimal wallpapers are made for the Home screen. A plain background and a single small subject leave room for your apps and keep their names easy to read. On the lock screen, a subject low in the frame leaves the top clear for the clock.

How to set it

Download it first. On an iPhone, move it from Files into Photos, then open it, tap Share and choose Use as Wallpaper. On a Samsung Galaxy, open it in Gallery, tap the three dots and choose Set as wallpaper. On a Pixel, open it in Google Photos, tap the three dots, then Use as and Wallpaper. You can set it on the lock screen, the Home screen or both.

The setup guides have full steps for each phone, and what to do if it looks zoomed in or soft.
